Abdulkader Mohammed

He started his art carrier from a young age drawing on walls and paper, his science and geography text books was the first taste of art he had seen and he enjoyed replicating them. Once in high school the Ethiopian Artist Tullu Guya helped him to become the artist he is today. He greatly enjoys painting and he expresses his feelings through art.


His works are also a way of questioning his viewers of truths hidden in plain sight. He tries to make the viewer see things that go unnoticed in their day to day lives. He fascinated and amazed by his country and the society he grew up in. Growing up in Merkato, Largest market in Africa with a unique socioeconomic life style, has influence his art. He uses his work to portray the unique life he has lived.
